Assigning wardrobe to scenes

On the Scenes tab, a scene’s Wardrobe button lists each character in it with a menu of their looks. Pick one per character. Storyboard panels for that scene then show them in that costume.

Pick a look for a scene

You set wardrobe on the scene, not on the look. Each character wears one look per scene.

  1. Open the Scenes tab

Find the scene in the list.

  2. Click Wardrobe

It’s the first button on the scene’s row.

  3. Pick a look for each character

Each character in the scene has a menu of their looks. The default look is marked (default). Choose none at the top of the menu to clear it.

  4. Close it

Your choice saves right away. Click anywhere outside the list to close it.

The Wardrobe button stays grey until at least one character in the scene has more than one look. With only the default look there is nothing to choose. Add more on the Wardrobe tab.

A character with no looks at all shows No wardrobes.

What it changes

A storyboard panel for the scene uses the picked look’s picture for each character. With no pick, it uses their default look. When the look has no picture yet, it falls back to the character’s own picture.

Scenes shoot out of order. This list is the record of what each actor should be wearing on the day.
