Character pictures
A character’s picture is square by default. Pick several characters and click Generate to do them together, with a check step first. The chosen picture is then used as the face when you make that character’s wardrobe pictures and storyboard panels.
One character
Click the character’s picture on their row. The window works like every list tab’s image window, which the list screen walks through.

A character’s picture is square (1:1) unless you pick another shape.
The whole cast at once
Pick the characters
Click Select and tick everyone who needs a picture.
Click Generate
On the Characters tab, Generate on the select bar opens a window instead of starting right away.
Check and start
The window says how many characters it will make. When the cost is known, it shows under the button. Each one gets a prompt built from their scenes and description. Click the button, such as Generate 2 Characters, to start.

Where the picture is reused
The chosen picture goes out as a reference in two places:
| When you make | The character’s picture is used |
|---|---|
| A wardrobe picture for this character | As the face, so the costume is worn by the same person |
| A storyboard panel with this character in it | As the face, unless the character’s costume for that scene has its own picture, which already shows them |
So make the cast’s pictures before their wardrobe. Doing it the other way round still works, but the costume pictures won’t match the faces.
