Location pictures
A location picture is 16:9. Make one, or upload a photo of the real place. Scenes set at that location send it along as a reference, so the same room looks the same in every scene.
Make or upload the picture
Click the location’s picture on its row. The window works like every list tab’s image window, which the list screen walks through.

Location pictures default to 16:9, wide like a film frame.
Once you have found the real place, upload a photo of it with Upload Image, or drop or paste one onto the picture. The scenes shot there then match the real room.
Until then, a made-up picture shows a location scout what you are looking for.
How scenes reuse it
When you make a scene’s picture, the scene’s location picture goes along as a reference. The image window for the scene shows it under Reference Images.
A scene row warns you when this link is missing:
| Badge on the scene row | What to do |
|---|---|
| No location | The scene has no location, so its picture is made without one. |
| Location not found | The scene names a place that isn’t in the Locations tab. Add a location with the same name, or rename the one you have to match. |
A storyboard panel uses the scene’s picture as its background reference. If the scene has no picture, it uses the location’s picture instead.
