When to change a parameter
Parameters are set per model on a production design, under Advanced Settings. The defaults suit most work. When a picture comes out wrong, fix the description first, then change one parameter at a time on one image.
Check the description first
Most bad pictures come from a vague description. A parameter changes how the model draws. It can’t add a detail the prompt never asked for. Reread the description and ask whether a stranger could draw the scene from it.
Open Advanced Model Settings

Edit the design
Open the Designs tab and press Edit on the design.
Pick the text, image or video tab
The edit form has text, image and video tabs. Each has its own Advanced Settings button.
Pick the model
Press Advanced Settings. Choose the model in Model. The window loads the parameters that model takes, filled with your saved values or its defaults.
Change and save
Change what you need and press Save. Reset to Defaults puts every field back. Cancel closes without saving.
Settings are saved per model, per design. Every generation in a project that uses that design picks them up.
Test on one image
Say your cast portraits come back glossy and too contrasty.

Pick one character
Open one character’s portrait and press Generate Character. Don’t run the whole cast. A bulk run charges for every character and tells you nothing more.
Lower the guidance scale
Harsh, oversaturated, plastic output is the usual sign of guidance set too high. Lower it a step or two and generate again.
Change one thing at a time
If you change guidance, steps and the scheduler together, you won’t know which one helped.
Check the style prompt
Still glossy? Words like “hyperdetailed” and “8k” in the style prompt pull models toward that look.
Every generation costs credits. Read the estimate before you confirm a bulk run.
