A scouting trip
Everything on the Breakdown shows up here as To find. Add what you find with photos and a rate, and change the status on the card. Reserved or rented marks the Breakdown element ready. Mark the ones you turned down Passed, and rentals you took back Returned.

The to-do list
Every element on the Breakdown tab has an item here, starting as To find. Importing a script fills the list for you. Click To find above the cards to see only what’s left. Each of those cards says how many scenes need it, like Breakdown · needed in 4 scenes.
Add an item
Open the form
Click New Item at the top of the tab.
Say what it is
Type a Name you can search for later, like “1970s brass desk lamp” rather than “lamp”. Pick a Category.
Say where and how much
Fill in Vendor / rental house and the Daily rate ($). Add anything else to Notes: condition, who you spoke to, what they said about the price.
Save it
Click Create Item. Only the name is required.

Add photos
On the card, click Add photo and pick a file. In the field, crew open Runner, then the Scouting tab in CinemaCrew, where they can add items and take photos of them with the phone. The photos show as thumbnails on the card and also land in Media under Scouting.

Keep the status current
Click the colored status on a card and pick To find, Scouted, Reserved, Rented, Returned or Passed. It saves at once. Edit changes it too, along with the rest of the item.
Reserving or renting an item marks its Breakdown element Ready. Passing on it sends a ready element back to Todo. Returning it marks the element Wrapped.
When you rent something, open Edit and set Return due. Needs return above the cards then lists what has to go back in the next two days.

Mark an item you turned down as Passed instead of deleting it. Then nobody goes back to scout the same lamp next month.
